Celebrity Heads doesn't ask you to sign up, doesn't set cookies, and doesn't collect or store any personal information about you. Player names typed into the game stay in your browser for the duration of the round and aren't sent anywhere.
This policy explains the longer version, in plain English.
This site is operated by Greenshoots Media, a sole-trader digital agency based on the Central Coast, New South Wales, Australia. You can contact us at brad@greenshootsmedia.com.au.
This policy is written to comply with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
We collect aggregate, anonymous traffic data through Fathom Analytics, a cookie-free, GDPR-compliant analytics service. Fathom records things like page views, referring website, country (not city or address), browser type and screen size. It does not record IP addresses, doesn't set cookies, and doesn't create a profile of you.
Beyond that, we collect nothing. Specifically, we don't collect:
The game stores some preferences (player names, last-used settings) in your browser's local storage so the page works smoothly. This data lives on your device only — it is not transmitted to us or to any third party. Clearing your browser data will remove it.
If you send feedback to brad@greenshootsmedia.com.au, your email address and message will be received by Brad Banks at Greenshoots Media. We use that information only to reply to you. We don't add you to any mailing list and we don't share your email with anyone.
The site is hosted by Hostinger. Standard server access logs (IP address, request time, user agent) are retained briefly by the host for security and abuse-prevention purposes. We don't read or analyse these logs in the ordinary course.
Analytics is provided by Fathom Analytics. Fonts are self-hosted; no third-party font CDN is involved. We don't embed advertising networks, social pixels or any other tracker.
Celebrity Heads is suitable for players aged 6 and up, and is often played by families. Because we don't collect personal information from anyone, we don't collect it from children either.
Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct it, and to complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) if you think we've mishandled it. As above, in practice we don't hold any personal information about visitors — but if you'd like to confirm that, or have any other privacy question, email brad@greenshootsmedia.com.au.
If we change the way Celebrity Heads handles data, we'll update this page and bump the date at the top. There's no version history page — if you want to see what changed, the site is hosted under public-facing version control and earlier versions are available on request.
